Our Story
It all began with Llewellyn.
In 2010, Chef Llewellyn Jacobsz decided that serving fresh, delicious and inventive food was going to be at the heart of our offering. Whilst he is no longer with us, his founding principle remains as important today. With a dedicated and experienced management team in Adrian Alport and Martin Jacobsz, our kitchen is in the safe hands of Chef Irene Malau, like it has been for thousands of meals in the last 15 years.
We have served food to kings, Hollywood A-listers, and musical greats. However, what we love most is making the everyday extraordinary for functions, events, and weddings for our loyal clients, predominantly in the Northern suburbs of Johannesburg.
We relish getting a challenging brief for an event concept as much as we do a baby shower for a mum-to-be and her girlfriends. We work closely with our corporate clients on a daily basis to deliver delicious meals for their staff, delegates or guests. Wedding catering is a specialty of ours, often working with the couple directly to design menus and service that suit their unique needs, backgrounds and wedding concepts.
Food trends are always on the move and we enjoy taking new ideas to our clients, sharing fresh options on the classics or totally new, healthy menus with superfoods that cater to high performance and demanding guests. Our freshly baked healthy organic bread loaves are a favourite, and conveniently delivered direct to you.
